Natural Baby

Avri is our "all natural baby". I don't have pictures to share, which a is a good thing in this case. She loves to go naked everywhere. It started as "no shoes", then quickly spread to "no shoes and pants". Good thing she loves dresses, especially pink ones! Next was "no shoes, pants, or diaper" Oooohhhh, not such a good thing! She takes it off the second it is wet or dirty! And just in the past couple days, she has now progressed to "no shoes, pants, diaper, or dress". That would leave her naked, except for the occasional dress-up necklace. I am actually pretty lucky that I am just now encountering this in my parenthood adventures. "Oh Avri! I love you" I guess in makes sense considering how she was born!!

Piano

On June 23rd Brynli and Sawyer had their Piano Recital. They both did really good this year. I must say, they were stinkin' cute!

Sawyer was the youngest student there. He LOVES music, but isn't too fond of practicing!

Brynli practiced tons and really worked hard this year.

He got confused and took a bow between his two songs. It was so cute!

Daddy Time and Father's Day

While I was at Cub Scout Day Camp this year, Stephen got to play with the kids ALL day. He took them to the zoo and they had a great time!!!!

Two days later it was Father's Day. The kids were sooooooo excited!!!! We made Dad a candy gram to let him know how wonderful we think he is! And we made him a huge card with a poem and the kid's footprints on it!

Avri's Birthday

After the Ortons left, we stayed at Bruneau for another day. And it happened to be Avri's Birthday!!! She is now 2!!!! We love her so much and are so happy that she is apart of our family!

At two, she is a silly and happy little girl! She loves all animals, especially doggies, kitties and heshes (horses)!

MeMe, Saw-er and Sheeooo (aka Brynli, Sawyer and Cheeto) are her best friends!!!!!

She is always walking Cheeto around, or making her go outside, or inside, or in another room, or sit by her, or eat her food, or drink her water, or brushing her...she gives Cheeto a LOT of attention! Notice Avri has no shoes on...and it doesn't even bother her! She absolutely insists on NOT wearing shoes!!!

She is a ham for the camera! She is always giving us a great smile! Along with playing in the dirt she also loves to play with the pretend food at home...another one of her favorite toys! She is also a talker! She goes on and on and on and on! She says tons of words and also tons of gibberish!

She loves, loves, loves her babies! She is always carrying a doll or two around. They are in the fort with her!

She loves cuddle time with mom! In this picture she just woke up from a nap and wouldn't play cause she needed to cuddle! She is such a Sweetie!!!

She was so excited to blow out the candles! We had sugar cookies instead of cake.

Check out that face! She is such a ham and jokester! She is always teasing someone!!! She has a great sense of humor. She thinks that she is hilarious and laughs at herself! It is adorable!!!

Back home again! She fell asleep on the floor with her baby! Brynli gave her a pillow and covered her up. Awwwww!!!

Of course she is wearing a dress...only thing she will wear! Playing with her new presents with Brynli.

And now playing with her ice cream! Mmmmmm! She knows when we are all watching her and when it's time to ham it up!!!

Camping with the Ortons at Bruneau

In June we went camping at Bruneau Sand Dunes with some friends of ours, the Ortons. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the kids playing on the HUGE dunes (didn't want to ruin the camera) So all of the pictures were at our camp sight.

Of course there was tree climbing!

The mosquitoes were awful! Sawyer got eaten alive! When we got back home everybody asked if he had the Chicken Pox or the Measles. Poor kid!

If you notice in all the pictures Avri has no shoes or pants on! She refuses to wear either, which doesn't seem too fun when camping. But she didn't mind! Silly kid! What a great trip!
