Baby Horses

Really close to where we live is a field/corral that has about 30 horses in it. Within the last 3 weeks 4 new babies have been born. You might find it surprising, but Sawyer insists on going to see the horses DAILY! The babies are a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.!!!!!!

Race For The Cure

On Saturday I ran a 5K with a group of girls from my ward! We ran in celebration of Susan Heaps (my friends Mother-in-law) who is battling breast cancer. There were 17,000 walkers, runners, and cheerers at the race! It was AMAZING!!! The whole experience was energizing and empowering!! I can't wait to run again next year!!!Above. Our awesome socks!

So Hallie and I ran the 3.2 miles in 40 min. I would say that is pretty good considering the fact that we don't run on a regular basis! On another note, my sis and bro are running a half marathon in two weeks. I know they will do GREAT!! So, proud of them. Good luck Kami and Daren! As for me, I'm sticking with the 5 K's :)

Spring Time

So I have finally started a blog! Yipee! I don't really know what I am doing so if anyone has any great ideas about blogging, send them my way! I hope you enjoy reading about our family!!

Anyway...Spring is here! We are so excited to play outside!! So, this is what we have been up to lately... Avri is a blast! Her personality is exploding! The other day she took all her clothes off and was running around with just her diaper (she usually keeps her clothes on). Then she put her boots and jacket on AND Brynli's headband...which she insisted be OVER her eyes. Then she headed straight to her new favorite place, the tramp. She was adorable in her crazy get-up, especially with her hair sticking up everywhere!
Sawyer has been REALLY into horses lately!!! And I mean REALLY!!! He found this horse at the Goodwill and insists on taking it most places with him. He is pretty ingenious when it comes to making bridals for his horses out of all his ropes. I'm pretty impressed with the little cowboy!!
Brynli is in girls scouts! We sure enjoyed the cookies she sold, haha!!! Seriously, those Samoans are soooo good!!! Anyway, she got to go on a date with Dad to a ho-down! This was her outfit. Isn't she adorable?!! I think she is the cutest girl I know!!!
