Bri's Breeze: Race For The Cure

On Saturday I ran a 5K with a group of girls from my ward! We ran in celebration of Susan Heaps (my friends Mother-in-law) who is battling breast cancer. There were 17,000 walkers, runners, and cheerers at the race! It was AMAZING!!! The whole experience was energizing and empowering!! I can't wait to run again next year!!!

So Hallie and I ran the 3.2 miles in 40 min. I would say that is pretty good considering the fact that we don't run on a regular basis! On another note, my sis and bro are running a half marathon in two weeks. I know they will do GREAT!! So, proud of them. Good luck Kami and Daren! As for me, I'm sticking with the 5 K's :)
